We’ve been wanting to share some of the ideas, concepts and creative processes behind the 9 short filmes touring ESFAA 2022/2023, so we’ve challenged the amazing Savina Petcova from Kortfilm to interview all directors who are part of this European short films showcase.
The second interview brought to the spotlight David Doutel, co-director of ‘Garrano’ (David Doutel and Vasco Sá, Lithuania, Portugal – 2022 – 14′ – Animation) talking about the conscious and unconscious ways of creating the feeling of an atmosphere in every shot, specially with animation.
