We’ve been wanting to share some of the ideas, concepts, and creative processes behind the 9 short filmes touring ESFAA 2024/2025, so we’ve challenged the amazing Nicolas Van Ruychevelt to interview all the directors who are part of this European short films showcase.
During their interview, Marie-Lola Terver and Paul Jousselin shared insights into the filmmaking process behind their project, The Mysterious Adventures of Claude Conseil. They elaborated on the film’s extended shooting schedule, which spanned both during and after the Covid-19 lockdown. Additionally, they emphasized their deliberate approach to incorporating active listening to the natural environment, highlighting the picturesque scenery that plays a significant role in the film.
